Special Projects Coordinator

We are looking to hire a detailed-oriented and organized dispatcher for our busy office.
The AOR Dispatcher is responsible for answering calls, scheduling, and coordinating dispatch activities within an assigned geographical area. They serve as the primary point of contact between field personnel, clients, and management, ensuring smooth operations and timely service delivery.
Responsibilities include:
- Call Handling: Answer incoming calls promptly, providing information, assistance, and dispatching appropriate personnel as needed.
- Dispatch Operations: Assign and coordinate personnel, equipment, and resources to ensure efficient coverage within the area of responsibility.
- Communication Management: Relay job assignments, schedule changes, and urgent updates between field teams, supervisors, and customers.
- Monitoring & Tracking: Use dispatch software, GPS tracking systems, and radio communication to track the status and location of field teams.
- Receiving of equipment: Oversee receiving of all equipment for Special Projects and Replacement department. Will stay apprised of all equipment delivery timelines and in contact with supply houses for that information.
- Scheduling & Routing: Optimize schedules and routes to ensure timely service and minimal delays.
- Customer Service: Handle inquiries, complaints, and service requests professionally.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and safety protocols.
- Complete technician payroll: Complete and turn in payroll spreadsheet weekly.
Requirements include:
- High school diploma or equivalent education (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- 2+ years of dispatching and customer service experience
- Excellent phone skills, listening skills with an empathetic voice and manner
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, GPS Tracking and Dispatching software.
- Energetic with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
