We are looking to hire a detailed-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk.  Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for ensuring timely processing of vendor invoices, organizing vendor documentation, and resolving invoice discrepancies.
Hours are Monday thru Friday (8:00am to 5:00pm).

Responsibilities include:

• Processing Invoices while verifying amounts against PO’s issued.
• Routing invoices for approval and review for PO exceptions.
• Indexing vendor documents for our records.
• Maintaining accurate vendor records, and compliance tracking.
• Act as point of contact for vendors on payment status, dispute resolution, etc.
• Research and resolve outstanding balances through monthly vendor statement reconciliation.
• Assist with vendor payment processes.
• Enforcing company policies and procedures for purchasing. Reporting recurring issues to direct manager.
• Other duties as required to support Accounting Department.

Performance Indicators: Certain key business indicators that will measure the effectiveness of the Accounts Payable Clerk. These include the following:

• Timely invoice processing & costing
  
• Accuracy of postings
  
• Minimizing delinquency of parables
  
• Accuracy of vendor history files
  
• Taking all eligible vendor prompt payment discounts
  

Requirements include:

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• 2+ years of customer service experience
• Excellent phone skills, listening skills with an empathetic voice and manner
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Energetic with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
