Journeyman Plumber (Service Dept)

We are searching for a friendly, reliable service plumber who is always prepared. Responsibilities include repairing pipes, tanks, and water fixtures, unclogging toilets and drains, and handling various residential or commercial plumbing requirements. You should also be able to diagnose problems, troubleshoot systems, and collaborate with others when required.
Responsibilities:
- Handling a variety of plumbing emergencies efficiently and professionally.
- Installing equipment, pipes, drainage systems, sinks, toilets, and heating and cooling systems.
- Testing systems for leaks and other problems.
- Complying with health and safety codes at all times.
- Performing inspections and providing advice to residential and/or commercial customers.
- Providing time and cost estimates beforehand.
- Communicating effectively with customers, especially when a job is taking longer than expected.
- Being polite and respectful of customers and their spaces at all times.
Requirements:
- Trade school diploma or completed apprenticeship (required).
- Valid TX plumbing license or TX journeyman plumber license (required).
- Good working knowledge of water supply, heating, and ventilation systems.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and using plumbing tools.
- Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
- Good listening and communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and patience.
- Must pass an employment background check.
- Physical agility.
